About Milk-E-Way Farms
Owners - Joyce and Kaarina Scolari
We are a mother daughter team located on the beautiful Southern Oregon Coast in the small town of Coquille. Our goat project initially started as a hobby/4-H project, and then quickly turned into much more. We currently run two separate herds.
A commercial herd consisting of about 20 does, most of which are Boer dairy crosses. These does are bred to one of our fullblood bucks from our registered herd each season to produce fast growing, hearty, butcher and production stock.
Our ABGA herd that is made up of percentage, purebred, and fullblood stock. Currently our registered her consists of about 60 does, 15 replacement doelings and yearlings, 2 junior bucks, and 2 senior bucks.

Commercial Herd
The goal of our commercial herd is to produce fast growing, hearty, healthy kids. We prefer for the does in the commercial herd to be at least 25% dairy genetics so they produce ample amounts of milk, and for ease of kidding. Our commercial does are bred to our fullblood bucks each season. We used Valley View Stetson to cover our commercial herd the 2019 and 2020 breeding seasons. This produced some exciting kids in all sorts of colors! We plan to use him again for most of the herd in the 2021 season!
ABGA HERD
In 2014, we decided that we were ready to step up the quality of our registered herd. We decided to jump into the project head first and purchased RNSH Hot Stuff **Ennobled** from Richard and Sandy at RNSH Boers. Unfortunately shortly after we purchased Hot Stuff he came down with a terrible case of pneumonia and didn't recover. He was replaced by his son RNSH Hot N' Handsome, who was just as special as his dad was. He did exactly what we had hoped and improved our herd greatly. At the end of 2015 we were ready for something a little different and wanted to continue to increase the quality of our herd overall. After a lot of research, we went back to RNSH Boers again and purchased RNSH Designer **Ennobled**. Designer taught us a lot about how obnoxious goats really can be, but he also took our herd to the next level. We had so many Designer daughters, we needed a buck to smooth our herd out, and Capriole's Tin Man did just that! With each generation, we try to improve something the previous generation is lacking. Our main herd sire is LYNX Hollow Jolly Roger I, and we are very impressed with the kids he has produced for us so far.
